Young only threw 30 pitches on Saturday, it might have been a situation where Robe felt he needed to get him out of the game early when he struggled so that he could bring him back on short rest. So that he could give Burk the start on Wednesday. Again who knows, I trust Robe on this.

Yes he had a short start bc of the possibility of him having to go today. I had forgot about that. Sometimes you have to roll the dice to win it all knowing that’s the only shot we have of making it to a regional. I know this...we can’t win today and then fall in the losers bracket and expect to win it all.

That is why I think it is imperative that we see ULM win vs USA today. Gives us a little bit of an easier game tomorrow. If we can beat Geo Southern tomorrow, and I know we have to win today first, everyone will be limited on pitching and then it is a crap shoot. I trust our hitting right now.

Although looking at the overall stats, Ga Southern actually has the best pitching staff, not Texas State. Perhaps if we get Texas State, we could have the revenge factor on our brain since we got swept by them and also the fact that they knocked us out of our own tourny last year. Who knows.
