We did not face Georgia Southern this year, but they finished with an 18-12 conference record, just 3 games ahead of us. Also it is a difference of about 30 RPI points. TSU is around a 46 RPI and GSU is at 76. We were swept by TSU.

I have zero inside information, but maybe they are saving Burk to pitch vs Texas State or Georgia Southern. I hope that is the reason and not that he is out. But again, I have no information.

Young only threw 30 pitches on Saturday, it might have been a situation where Robe felt he needed to get him out of the game early when he struggled so that he could bring him back on short rest. So that he could give Burk the start on Wednesday. Again who knows, I trust Robe on this.
