App is going with an interesting choice for their starter. A guy that didn't make his first start until April 30. He made 14 relief appearances before that first start. He appeared in 2 games against us going 2.0 IP, giving up 1 run, 2 hits, and 2 walks. He didn't strike anyone out.

For the season, he's got a 5.05 ERA in 46.1 innings with 33 Ks and 24 walks.

They lost 2 of 3 to Coastal ta the end of the season, they lost a mid week game to UNC-Asheville, they were swept by USA and took 1 of 3 from Arkansas State including a game they lost 27-8 on Saturday. In those last 10 games they have games where they lost 10-2, 27-8, 13-6, 13-7, 19-3 and 9-6. They did win one of those games 18-6.

These stats all sound good for us, but man in the conference tourny anything can happen. We've seen worse pitchers dominate us before. I hope our guys are ready to mash no matter who is on the mound. I ain't counting any chickens before they hatch.

ULM and USA falling right into the "no one has pitching" narrative so far. USA up 6-5 with ULM batting in the top of the 6th. Both teams in double digit hits already. Both starters lasting just 4 innings.
