This female announcer is so condesending toward us. Not once has she mentioned our history or success in the postseason.

I don't find her to be condescending, but she definitely adds nothing to the broadcast. Silent more often than not, and when she does say something, it's "she's doing a great job." Yes, you do not see many lefty catchers. There are many coaches at the select and high school levels that simply will not allow a lefty to catch. I had one in 14U that could play the position . and that she did.

Coaches are often times finicky about many things that they really know nothing about. Often time good players are ruined by such coaches.
