My wife can’t be in the room when Mowins calls a game. She can’t stand her voice. I’ve got no issue myself. She’s actually never seen the replay of the 2012 New Orleans bowl because of Mowins doing play X play. Which is a shame as that was a nice win (and it counted in the record books.)

Oklahoma ties the game at four with two outs in the top of the 7th. Wow.

Possibly my favorite sport now. Anything can happen, and you almost expect it.

The OK freshman SS is playing some kind of defense tonight.

The UCLA SS made that diving away from home and to the third base side catch, which should had been POD top 3.

UCLA punched OK in the mouth on the first pitch they saw, OK kept coming back and UCLA answered every time.

What got me was the announcement it's the first title for the PAC-12 since 2011.

They used to win it. Every. Year.

I don't make it a habit to criticize other announcers because I know better than anyone what a hard job it is. But I wish Adam Amin and Amanda Scarborough had been doing the telecast. They are really, really good. But they were relegated to sitting over the outfield fence doing the ESPNU live podcast. They were entertaining, but I switched over in the sixth to concentrate on the game.

Similar thought but when Arizona first played and the announcers said UA hadn't made the WCWS since 2010, I was astonished. We thought our drought from OKC has been long, but this is Mike Candrea and Arizona and it was 9 years.
