alyssa denham pitching for Zona against Bama in an elimination game and just got pulled. Just gave up a 2 run double. Appropriate that Hemphill got the hit. It would have been pretty obscure but if the announcers would have linked that Lafayette connection it would have been cool.

May have been a great story if we would have (should have) won the Oxford regional. Denham vs. the team she left. She’s not an every day pitcher but the story line would have been interesting.
