the bigger question is does florida pitcher, barnhill(?) ever get called for illegal pitch?
Right.
She’s a demonstrative player. I remember when she pitched for A and M in the Lafayette regional a few years ago. It seems like she threw 1000 pitches that weekend and Sanders hit a 2 run jack when the Aggies were up 2 late. She threw the pitch, saw the contact and immediately looked up at the sky knowing it was gone. Almost like the heavens had it in for her.
If you do what she did yesterday, you flip that bat like a boss. Especially against the SEC. “it just means more.”
My question is why is Cat Osterman still at Texas State? You'd think with her reputation a P-5 would have taken her by now.
I don't root for the SEC. But I do root for Alabama. Their coaching staff has their roots here in Acadiana.
I think if Gerry worked at it, we would get a three game set with the Tide every year. They got popped, seeding wise, for their OOC schedule. It would be beneficial for both to play.
I plan to call Patrick and/or Ally when the season is over to suggest that.
Alabama may be willing to come here next year to allow Bailey Hemphill to play in her hometown.
