That’s because the ncaa changed the days for super regionals. 2018 might have been the first year of the new format.

i was there.... we get called out for poor game day logisitcs, but that was a cluster... i cant help but think it was disorganized by design, to quadruple az state’s home field adv. nobody knew (or wouldnt tell cajuns) when the game would be, how much time between games, etc,etc. made it hard for cajuns to be mentally prepared for that third game and physically because i also recall game was really late

but now that certain sec teams are on the road they get the third day? odd coincidence

kind of interesting that all super regionals this year are listed as three separate days, but when we won game one on road against az state, then lost second the third game was on day two

new format. when we went to houston in 2008, games 2 & 3 were played as a doubleheader.

Texas with nice comeback win over Bama to force the dreaded “if necessary.” I think they were down 4 in that game.

Florida over Tenn.

FSU and Oki state play game 3 today.

OU beat NW.

I think that’s it.

It would be funny if only 1 SEC team makes it to the WCWS. It’s possible if Texas, Minnesota, Washington and Arizona take care of business.

i was trying to see if sec was first to have two teams to be two and bbq, but it isnt even their “best”, they actually had three a couple years ago.... but still no decrease in invites, sad.

Really great to see EVERY sec team make the field just so they could have a little representation in the WCWS. Throw 13 teams at the field and 2 stick.

Representation in WCWS seems right. 13 of 64 is 20%. 2 of 8 is 25%.
