Another big weekend on the diamond lies ahead for the Louisiana Baseball team, which hits the road for the final time this season when it makes the short trek to Monroe for a showdown with in-state rival ULM. Game times are set for 6 p.m., on Thursday, 6 p.m., on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday.

As soon as they said Burk had some tightness, I was figuring best case is he went to game 3 to give him an extra day of rest. I didn't think he'd go on the short week in the same series-opening spot. I think you can bump Perrin up to starting since he's a quick recoverer per Robe. Hopefully he can bring the same stuff he's been showing out of the pen into a starter's role tonight.

We shortened Young too last week but don't know if you want him bumping up 2 days shorter than normal. Especially considering he's not the fastest to recover (again, per Robe's comments.)
