They are now 11-17, so the best they could finish is tied with us at 13-17. We took 2 of 3 from them, but I have no idea how the tiebreaker works.

.......yes it almost certainly is......I think the staff got fired at N’East and he took over at Acadiana....the staff was gone at USL and I went to AcadianA with him for the Spring and was hired back at UL When Augi T came......tough decision time for anybody that coached, but had a great time with Bill and then the Cajun turn around!

At least we don't have to stress over being snubbed by the conference tournament committee hoping for an at-large.

Yeah, I am big believer in jinxes.......when I saw that yesterday I thought, 'well, there goes that streak.'

Add another one that we cut : Trey Jeans, the kid that was the starting pitcher for ULM last night and went 7 strong and shoved it up our azzz. Lefty in low 90's. We can't use that over here.

Side note : Former UL player [cut] Johnny Rizer 4-6 last night vs. TCU hitting cleanup. Hitting .327 with an OPS over .900.

Scary thing is there are others.

I guess the problem is we dont sign enough players. Sooner or later the odds are we don't cut the Rizers, Jean's and Erbes. Hopefully, we can sign a dozen more before the fall.
