Now the TC QB is better than Holstein, Fields, Howard . . . Surely TC will win a State Championship in 2020 with that quality a QB and Napier and Coach O better get off their high horse and snap that one up. Somehow, somewhere get a QB scholarship ready.

It's a relative evaluation, but please, please, please don't miss out on this one.

Bottom line is TC and STM both have 2nd year starters coming back, and STM has a pretty good one, from everything I hear, waiting his turn. None of that will change regardless of who is better than who. Time to move on folks.

I diminished no one, you must have me confused with someone else. I actually said last year in those conversations that they were completely jumping the gun talking about the TC QB.

As far as fields goes I did give my opinion of what I thought of him after watching him in 2 games as a Sr. After all this is a message board designed for the purpose of discussion and giving opinions. Just because you don’t agree with my opinion doesn’t mean I was trying to diminish the kid. I do still have questions about him at this level. I may be wrong it’s just an opinion.

Since those conversations coach Napier has brought in 2 transfers which will be good for fields in his development.

I have nothing against chandler and I hope he breaks every QB record at UL. That means we are having great success.

Holstein and Howard aren’t coming here so I won’t waste my time defending that asinine statement.

STM has been easing the no Freshman policy over the last few years. I think Jack Bech played varsity as a Freshman in 2017 and Josh Stevenson was a major contributor on defense last season as a Freshman.

Stevenson was a Soph last year, but did get some carries as a RB as a Frosh in '17.

Bech may have been the 1st Frosh at STM to catch a pass in a varsity game.

This kid is going to be a very good talent. I guarantee you if his name was Walker Smith or Jones, and had the exact resume and talent he has, they wouldn’t have offered this early. That early offer is no doubt because of daddy’s name.

No diminishing what so ever just an opinion. Here is what I base my opinion on. Name me every current high school freshman that Napier has offered who's name is not Howard. Name me one player period, that hasn't started a high school game, that Napier offered, and he isn't a former SEC QBs son. When you give me examples I will change my opinion.

Now having said that I know that the kid is talented and once he becomes the starter he will get several offers. If his talents are as good as I have heard his offer here is probably gonna be a moot point. Not sure how you can say I am trying to diminish the kid.

This past year I went to the Teurlings vs Rummel game in Metairie, on that night there was no doubt the more accurate passer was from Lafayette. I realize it was "a small sample size" to borrow a phrase from Stevie P.

Vic do you consider that opinion of what I saw to be diminishing to Chandler.
