Note for thought. Fouquier was going to attend STM. He was told that no freshmen dress out for varsity football at STM. He packed his cleats and went to Comeaux. Things are a changing at that school.

As of today Walker is the second best QB option at sTm. He will no doubt be a stud but not yet QB1.

Was it with this soon-to-be senior QB?
Was this soon-to-be senior QB a big reason why?

If the answer to the above three is all "YES", then I'm not seeing Hightower and Padgett suddenly choosing to start a sophomore with no real varsity experience unless the senior starts to really struggle.

He'll get playing time, but he won't start unless the proven incumbent gives them a reason to start the PROJECTED rising star.
