For us to have success and go to the NCAA Tourney, it will not be with Julian or Jalon at the 3 spot.

I would argue the exact opposite. I think the best recipe for success would be another quality big transfer in (like a Jordan Brown) to rotate alongside Gueye and Smith. That would force Johnson and Julien to the 3 spot.

Big is not always better. The lineup you are describing would be too slow on the defensive end.

    Facts and words...Yours.

"Ok, I can guarantee that he will not play the 3 position for UL. He was the Center on his team in HS, yes he can step out and shoot the three, but his ball handling skills and being a consistent 3 point threat is not of a guard or 3 man. He will be at the 4 position for us. Marquetti was a 3 man for us. Julien is no where close to Marquetti when it comes to the guard position."

Nobody mentioned the lack of quickness except you....

Don't bother. Until these guys prove it on the floor, for which he still may not admit it, it's not worth debating. Cajunstrong is apparently the only person here who knows anything about basketball.

That’s weird that you quote CajunStrong and say I typed that.

Maybe you are confused on who you are arguing with?

You’re right about that. We need a new staff, including HC for that to happen.

Im not the only Ragin Pagin peep that understands. These old RP gurus have pumped kids up before and they don't pan out. Last year they were high on Gladney and Hayes, both are gone now. One guy said that DOU DOU was an excellent ball handler. Kyrie Irving and Chris Paul are excellent ball handlers. Not a PF from JUCO.

Pretty sure he meant excellent ball handler FOR A BIG MAN. Bryce Washington was a damn good ball handler for his size. Doesn't mean he was a gd point guard. You're the only "guru" around here and can't wait to be the one to say "I told you so". I'd take Mike's opinion over yours concerning basketball all day every day.

Mike is one sided, a Marlin Lover. He wont give you a real opinion, he is just gonna sugar coat anything related to Marlin or the players he brings in. Marlin brought in Justin Miller, Gladney, and Davis, all players that left. Now we hire Morris as a quick fix only because he brought in two players that Marlin thinks we need. If those players were at Cecilia HS, Marlin would have hired Scotty Borel. Marlins era is almost done, two more years at best.
