It's typical that once you enter the portal your scholarship for the next year/semester is pulled.

That was the point I was making to him that he doesn't get. These kids now play so much out of their actual HS team that they are able to show off their skills and talents so they may be recruited for a completely different position than they play in HS. Rogers Washington is a guy that comes to mind from my playing days. Guy played center at Hanson but was a SF at LSU.

Rogers was the best guy I ever played against.

R.J. Gladney no longer listed on the roster either

Brandon Mouton is ten times better than Kobe Julien. Mouton was a Shooting Guard at Texas. STM when Mouton played ran a 5 out offense. You guys gonna be the same ones bashing him come next season, that he is not quick enough to play the guard spot. Let's look back at the 2-3 guards over the last ten years at UL. I haven't seen one that played the 4-5 in HS COME AND BE PRODUCTIVE at the 2-3 position for UL .

Stove, Marquetti both played the 4 in HS. They were fairly productive. And I didn’t even go back 10 years.

And I’d have to say Lyle had a much better HS career.

The #3 position is not a guard position. You are mixing up your words. He will guard SF and PF positions and maybe even the SG from time to time.

A question, when was the last time you saw Julien play?

I know what offense stm ran. I played with him. The point is just cause a player is a 5 in high school doesn’t mean he’s gonna play the 5 in college. Jesus Christ

This is not a surprise and they are looking to fill his scholarship. Some of us were getting hints that would be the case for a few weeks. Miller and Davis were surprises however. His scholarship may go to either another JUCO player or a transfer who would have to sit out a year.

Like I was saying, if he is guarding Shooting guards, him and Johnson will have trouble doing that. Guarding Small forwards and true Power Forwards he will be fine. Johnson is a small forward, I don’t see him guarding at PF position ever.
