Just noting that I saw his name there which is the next step beyond the social media post.

I don't like the feel of what's going on. Next year may be a disaster. We have lost 58 points per game of the scoring. We signed a few people, but nobody that has scored more than 9 points a game on the college level. Defenders next year will key in on Russel and limit his shots per game next year. He had the luxury last couple years of being able to roam pretty free and not keyed in on because of how good GANT has been. Im kinda nervous for the state of the b-ball team.

I am nervous as well. In some ways, though, I am hopeful that JT's decision to leave is in part based on some talent we have coming in on the front line that he felt may have eaten into his minutes. If that's not the case, why would he leave before his senior year when the team would need him the most and where could he go that would put him in a better position.

But yes, I am concerned about next year really because we will rely on a LOT of guys whom we've never seen play for this university.

I saw on Twitter where Malik Marquetti dunked the ball at UL recently, meaning he is working his way back to playing. What are the realistic chances that he gets another year.

I think with Russell, Julien, Davis, Wesley, Hardy, Johnson, Cadwell, Wilson and possibly Marquetti we will have a team that is capable of running the floor well as well as shooting well. Very agressive guard play on offense and defense.

I think your hypothesis might be correct. I think the Cajuns are about to sign another big.

You'll probably see seven or so new players on this team next season. Perhaps more.

No. It's my opinion some of the things said about Justin were worse than anything said about Cantrelle.

Getting Malik back is a pipe dream, IMO.

That’s a very small lineup, no real defensive minded players either. A lack of scoring and rebounding will be our down fall.
