It will be interesting to see how the rest of the roster moves play out over the off season, I could see a situation where 4 of the 5 opening night starters are seeing their first action in a Cajun uniform.
I predict at least three will be from the guys we know will be on the roster. Definitely will have Julien and Johnson plus I predict Smith will start as well.

I was thinking those three as well as maybe Wilson. I think it would depend on whether or not Wesley is ready to be the starter at PG or if a combo guard runs the show. I think Russell has a spot unless something unforeseen happens.

I also noticed Miller is officially in the transfer portal.

If he is transferring out, why would he not be listed on the transfer portal?

Just noting that I saw his name there which is the next step beyond the social media post.

I don't like the feel of what's going on. Next year may be a disaster. We have lost 58 points per game of the scoring. We signed a few people, but nobody that has scored more than 9 points a game on the college level. Defenders next year will key in on Russel and limit his shots per game next year. He had the luxury last couple years of being able to roam pretty free and not keyed in on because of how good GANT has been. Im kinda nervous for the state of the b-ball team.

I am nervous as well. In some ways, though, I am hopeful that JT's decision to leave is in part based on some talent we have coming in on the front line that he felt may have eaten into his minutes. If that's not the case, why would he leave before his senior year when the team would need him the most and where could he go that would put him in a better position.

But yes, I am concerned about next year really because we will rely on a LOT of guys whom we've never seen play for this university.
