You know the scouting report on Julien is that he's good in the open court and his agility right?

I am starting to doubt some of ya'll expertise on judging talent, and how good teams in our league are.
You can't argue with his lack of success but the vast majority of his impact players have come from the Juco ranks. With his recruiting and athletic budget, some will say he's done more with less.

They had over half their total rebounds on the offensive end and the guys who had the bulk were 6'8 and 6'9. Outside of Gant, we had nobody near that tall or athletic. I certainly agree that height isn't everything but Julien isn't close to those guys anyway.

If they have lack of success how can they have impact players.

    Impact is not always positive.

I not going off a scouting report, I am going off of seeing him with my own eyes play many times.

The same way Arkansas State did this year. The same way we did this year. We finished a whopping game better than them in conference and if you take out last year, our finishes in conference aren't far apart over the last 5-6 years. I'd say we had impact players this year. Wouldn't you?

I'm going off the projections recruiters have of him and film in AAU ball. I understand in HS due to his height he may have played in the post a bit but his overall skill set has him playing the 3 primarily in college. See the film below in the link below. Multiple scores from drive from wing, 3 pointer and transition dunk.

Brandon Mouton was arguably the best basketball player to ever come out of STM. He played the 5 the majority of the time depending on what the defense was giving him. Definitely a matchup nightmare being around 6’4-6’5. Guess what position he played in college at Texas? The 2/3 lol. The dudes argument is worthless

So as of now, Jeremy Hayes (going to Angelo State), Justin Miller and Jerekus Davis are gone from last years team. Is that correct?

Yes, Miller and Davis are still in the portal but appear to have made it clear they won’t be back. As of now with the departures and signings we are even on scholarships.
