    It might have been a tough choice between Dalton and Rawls for Player of the Year.

    agreed, so it seems strange that Hudek got newcomer of the year over Rawls. only so many awards to be given out. good problems to have, congrats ladies!

    Tough choices. Also, it's hard to believe the GA Southern 3rd baseman is better than Kara.

    That third baseman may not be, however WE have a number of players that may be better than Kara and those coaches were not going to give all the first team awards to Cajuns. She is probably a victim of award circumstance.

    Georgia Southern third baseman batting average .403, Kara .333. Hits 62, Kara 45. Home runs 5, Kara 3. rbi's 31, Kara 29. Slugging percentage .591, Kara .496. Fielding percentage .901, Kara .957.

    Correct, I went look up the stats as soon as I saw Kara was second team.

    Hannah Farrel beats Kara in every offensive category I checked (average, hits, doubles, HR, RBI).

    Kara has her beat on defense (fewer errors and higher fielding %).
