2.82 ERA (2nd best on team)
    1.15 WHIP (Best on team)
Only pitcher with real innings that didnt have more than 10 BB
    Best K/BB ratio on team

I dont care if he had some issues with injuries at times, you certainly don't get rid of him unless he hangs them up. You'll take him throwing 40+ innings next year with those same issues if it means more depth on the staff

The only numbers that matter are wins and losses. Everything else is just conversation, which we suck at too. The only thing we have improved is creating excuses. Offense did improve, tho. Can you imagine our record without Jake Wells? I doubt we win 20 without him this year.

Somebody ____ed up my team and I am not happy.

True statement. I feel all of us base ballers has had enough. The hard part is trying to be optimistic.

Yeah my comment was pretty sarcastic. I'll believe the change when I see it

Remember, "we've already seen the impact of the stadium on recruiting." SMH

Yep. The problem with getting people to buy into your program is that people take it personally when the damn thing craters. The only silver lining left is the idea that sometimes hitting rock bottom is the only catalyst for real change. Idk man.

Man, ya'll are Cajun fans. That's the definition of optimism in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Buck up young men, it will get better.

Well, this whole problem is simple. We are not busting out returns on our investment. As I always mention, cost must match the quality. You don't build $20 million stadiums to house 28-31 teams. You don't upcharge on box seats by 300% to watch us get spanked by UNO, Texas State, and Troy.

I don't know what the solution is right now. But at the same time, I'm not getting paid to answer that question. The ones who are better answer it soon because people aren’t going to pay for this much longer.

Do you really consider football a poor season? Other than the Coastal game i consider it an overall success and a big step in the right direction as we obviously made the correct hire in Napier. Football drives the bus so despite our baseball and basketball seasons I’m glad football is looking very good.

I took a long hiatus from RaginPagin and have been back for the past year. Let me just say the negative Nancy’s have taken over here despite our athletic programs being in better position than when I left 10 years ago.

Perhaps we just no longer accept mediocrity here, which is great. I just don’t think its all doom and gloom.

As a mid major we walk a fine line between success and mediocrity. Can’t have much go wrong as baseball has proven. A couple poor recruiting classes have really set us back. The glass half full crowd says we have an amazing stadium, amazing fan base, a head coach with a track record and a damn good hitting (Wells)and pitching coach (Robe). Who here really thinks Robe won’t get our pitching back on track? 2-3 dependable relievers and this team would have been a contender. We just had nothing to work with. Which is a complete anomaly for this program.

I said the offense was better, much better. That is a big dam deal. However, most of the line-up is gone, but a system is in place to replace spots in the line-up.

Pitching, long the pride of the baseball program is now a black hole of futility. Just being real.
