Tony said Sat. he's likely done. The physical 7stress of putting a 12 inch steel rod in his leg was too much to deal with

At least we can see a path to our own tournament. Can we get it done? I don't know, but I will be there this weekend for at least two games. All the other yapping is just the same people throwing crap at the wall.

And then said today, he'd start him on a Sunday to set up the pen.

We have as good a chance as any team to win it. We will at least beat GAST 2/3 and Monroe 2/3.
I though last year was an amazing job game managing. To win 34 with that pitiful offense was warlock-like. We were ranked 272 in BA, 249 in slug.

I guess we shall see. Sounds like it is up in the air. One of the biggest disappointments this season was not watching him pitch. He still has a future in pro ball. Tony is not going to abuse him to try and bail out this clown show season. If he does get in, the pitch count will be low low.

Wasn't surprising when it was mentioned in Diamond Club by assistants that they know a complete overhaul is needed. They signed a lot of JC arms (still are) to come in and take over next year. More coming in than roster spots open just going off departing seniors, so younger players will be going out as well as is common. It'll just be more than normal. It's an unacceptable season to all involved obviously

Huge recruiting classes, mass flops and .500 records will quickly become the norm until the recruiting business model is fixed.

.375 on base % + 5.00 ERA = .475 record. Its math. Find somebody to recruit who knows what a college pitcher looks like, or we will be right back here until it's done.

Yeah its more of a shotgun method than anything pinpoint. Just hope something sticks. They need to hit on more than just a quarter of the class like what seems to be our recent success rate.
