There is a harsh reality in their thread. They are expecting dividends from winning the CWS, which they should. They still get respect nationally, but only lasts until a few losses happen. Fullerton is another example of what they are going thru.

They play in the Sunbelt, where not everyone is serious about baseball. Their predicament is the same our softball team faces. Cannot falter in a league where some care about baseball, and some don't. Nobody in the SBC is in awe of them.
