No, he is 2020. He has two options;1) He can enroll at UL on his own dime and sign in December, put on scholarship in January for spring semester. 2) He can play this season in JC, sign in December and transfer to UL in January on scholarship. He did not attend JC because of academics, so he can finish either semester. I prefer the 1st option.

He hasn’t played juco yet so technically transferring from Maryland I guess

He is paying his own way and will sit out. He will be a Greyshirt (Athlete waits an extra semester to become a full-time student and part of the team). He will be put on scholarship in the spring.

So 2020, is looking like Lewis, Magalei, Hawkins, McDowell and Fields. No way all 5 will still be here but I love the competition and we should have at a minimum two really good D1 QBs to rely on.
