I definitely hope he signs here, but I'd be surprised if he makes it to campus for good. Maybe it's my disappointments from basketball and baseball seasons sucking so badly clouding my optimism.

The guy is the #1 JUCO QB in the country we will have to beat a lot of big boys for him

Serious question because I simply have no idea. Is being the #1 JUCO QB an indication of the talent level at QB in JUCO this year or has he improved that much since he left Maryland?

I ask because he was a walk-on at Maryland after signing with UTEP. Has his stock risen that much since then? Regardless of which it is, I would be thrilled to have him.

To be fair, (almost) everyone jumps to another school after going to a JUCO unless they get hurt or suck. That's the whole point.

I’m thinking we don’t know the first thing about the why? I’m gonna defer to Napier on players. It’s his a-ss on the line.

It’s easy to say the kid’s all about himself. IMO it’s never enough about the kids. Coaches make unrealistic dollars off teens and bolt to next career move. NCAA makes billions on them and schools cover non revenue sports on them.
