I thought the same thing. Similarly not trying to be salty, but a heartbreaker implies that it was a meaningful game and something like the win was imminent and then the unthinkable happened. Think Saints-Vikings playoff game 2017 season.
After the hit by pitch, walk then single that the Cajuns gave up in the 9th, I kind of assumed we'd lose. We've been losing that way all year.
