Our very average infield matches up well with the very average pitching. On days we hit, we win. Days we don't hit, we lose. We hit in about half the games. That is how you get to 20-21.

Bottom of 8th, score 8-4, bases loaded. A walk rbi, Hit by pitch rbi, Sac fly rbi. Their isn't another D1 Coach that wouldn't have pulled his pitcher after that bases loaded walk and rbi.
The outcome will actually help Gunner. Taking a risk on the final score of one game in your stars return is a long-term decision as we get closer to the postseason.
We’ll take this series but a brutal loss last night.
What time game 2
Not sure I agree with that but ok. I’m sure he had a plan in order to win the series. And to be quiet honest I’d take Gunner at 60% over the rest of the bullpen in that situation strictly because of the pressure issue. We had already used Armstrong and Lamount. Again, we failed to turn not one but two double plays that would of sealed the deal. He made the pitch when he needed to. The defense didn’t get it done.
