So we've got THAT going for us!
What he missed however is that not one of those came on a FRIDAY.

And at least ONE in LAFAYETTE.

Leger is NOT our best guy at this moment. He isn't fully recovered, and probably should shut down for the year if he has any dream of pro ball. Gunner has had a great career here, but reality is he isn't 100%.

It's all frustrating period. Leger is the guy right now, but he didn't have it. He has worked his way out of those situations in the past. So who do you trust to come in and close it out considering we have two more games? I have no clue.

You can _____ about leaving Gunner in, or he didn’t have his best stuff but he had enough stuff to get not one but 2 ground ball double plays and neither were turned. That’s the issue. Not leaving him in or taking him out. The game was won twice and we didn’t get it done. Period

Good hitter. Not an infielder at the next level.

Who is, the guy that pitched 3 innings the other night? I'm just asking, because I don't know who I would have trusted to close out this game. Given what has happened this season, my answer is no one.

Tell that to our coach cause that’s what came out of his mouth in the post game. “We had our best guy on the mound”

It’s hard to spot the other team 9 outs in less than two innings especially when your pitcher does not have IT that night.

Would have been nice if Loch got that squeeze bunt down too in the top of the 9th. Plenty of missed opportunities all around.

We just did not execute - game over.

    This.

We had several opportunities in the 8th and 9th to finish this game. As usual, found a way to lose.
