It sounds like he originally signed with UTEP but left when he felt like he wouldn’t get playing time.

In addition to us, he is also visiting LSU, Georgia, Ok State, and Pitt. Tough competition, but I feel like our advantage over those other schools is the potential for playing time. If we can convince him he’ll be able to play right away, which is something those other schools will have a tougher time doing, we just might get him.

I do know that he was really enjoyed his visit and was really impressed with our program. So who knows, we might get lucky.

McDowell.. Looked awfully good for a senior in high school. Javi still favoring his injured knee. No 1 didn't do anything wrong but didn't stand out either.

I didn't see the second half so no idea how kolbacher looked or if others played better or worse.

Very impressed with Mcdowell it's good to have QB's at the position finally and not just athletes playing QB.

Fileds might even push for a starting spot come summer.
