Some yellow shirt asked to see my ticket for the 2nd time in 5 minutes. We are the only 2 people in our section.

We left last night, I happen to be next to one of our elder long time fans. I won't name him simply out of respect for the things he has done for the program and he lives UL baseball. But he said something I'd never would have imagined about our team, "we quit, we've given up". I didn't say a word back.

We left last night, I happen to be next to one of our elder long time fans. I won't name him simply out of respect for the things he has done for the program and he lives UL baseball. But he said something I'd never would have imagined about our team, "we quit, we've given up". I didn't say a word back.

The whole program has quit. Head Coach wants to preach, our "coach in waiting" doesnt even get on the field and coach anymore. We reassigned an assistant coach because hes a good recruiter as our talent continues to decline. Our volunteer assistant is the pitching coach, which is our head coachs specialty, and also coaches first base (where he cant talk with our pitchers when we are hitting). Of course the team has quit, the whole program from top to bottom has become complacent. And why change it, the fan base just makes excuses for them and their coach.

He has his stadium, hes made his money. He shows none of the fire he has in the past. The man used to come out of that dugout and fight for his team. The most energy we've seen all season is after the 1st inning of Game 1 when Gunner came off the mound screaming. After that, we've been dead.
