Thread: Third Straight Friday Night Loss.

  1. UL Baseball Third Straight Friday Night Loss.

For Ragin’ Cajuns coach Tony Robichaux, UL’s slump since it battled to get back to .500 boils down to basics.

Too many injuries are catching up with the Cajuns, who fell 9-2 to South Alabama on Friday night in the first outing of three-game Sun Belt Conference series on M.L. “Tigue” Moore at Russo Park

So 1 pitcher being out is the reason we gave up 26 runs in those 3 games .... ok Marlin Jr.

Can’t count the times I’ve heard, “you don’t wanna take low hanging fruit, BUT...”

Glad to see someone seeing the resemblance in tone between the two coaches.

Next thing we’ll hear is how it all comes down to one weekend in May.

The schedule Robe plays isn’t one designed for a few games in May. The schedule Marlin puts together means he’s gotta be great in March.

Ultimately both are in the same situation, but one is to reward a great team, the other to reward a coach.

1999 team was better. Needed to stay away from hot rice.

Yes, 1999 was good team. I was living in Houston at the time and went to all 3 games vs Rice in the super in the Dome!

Yup Mrs Express and I made those games. Thought for sure we were going to CWS.

I made game 2 with my older son. I was very hopeful after the game 1 win.
