I've never seen an article stating he was offered and turned down. Even if true, who's to say Deggs isn't waiting out the right opportunity. My point wasn't to downplay Tony in that instance. It was to say there's no point being made with saying a coach has been somewhere for 5 years and hasn't gone anywhere.
Also curious to know how many big time openings there have been in the time that Deggs has been at Sam Houston. Disclaimer: I don't think Deggs comes here anyway. Whether his decision or the fact that Maggard would go and get his own guy.
Our bats hit them pretty good and we weren’t hitting at all..any resemblance of our normal pitching staff and we sweep them..our bullpen golden, gave up 21 runs from 7-9 inning in the series. Credit to them but they swept and pretty average team at home and were pretty close to getting swept by an average team
