Congrats Coach Key and ladies.
Biggest win in several years.
Coach Key is doing a great job with this Cajun team. They look more disciplined and chrisp with each game. Shout-out to McKenzie Lee who made a GREAT save with about 10 minutes left in regulation. Also really impressed with our back line led by big physical gal from Berlin. Look out when coach can get a couple of speedy forwards. Great win, ladies!!
I missed the goal. I checked out the checked the ncaa football and on my return the screen was blank. I think they cut off the camera as soon as they scored.
Also watched the volleyball match. We won the first two sets handily but got swept in the final three. Wife said we’re not in shape. Team looked latargic. I guess this is another women sport we’re just going to be a bottom feeder. Thank goodness soccer seems to finally be in capable hands and

Our next 3 games are ULM, GSU, and GSU. All below us in the standings. I don’t see us losing any of the 3 the way we’re playing defense. 3 wins would be great but we got to get the ball in the goal.
Bad news, we’ve scored 5 goals in 6 conf games and 3 of them against coastal. Good news, we’re 2-2-2 in conf with the lack of offense. My hope is coach is pushing defense to be competitive in games till he can get more talent on offense. Although we have outshot and and held possession over a number of opponents in losses. Definitely heading in the right direction. Of course there weren’t many directions to go after the last regime.
