I took my daughter to the game and was very surprised by the crowd...free admission and new concession prices brought em out. Very good turnout.

I was there and I'd estimate 7-800. The largest crowd I've ever seen for soccer @ UL. Everyone was super excited about the concessions. Dr. Maggard had a smile from ear to ear. Great Job, Sir!!
I know the competition has been very week, but the Cajuns are 2-0-1 in their last 3 games. Let's make it 4 non losses in a row vs Sam Houston this weekend. Geaux Cajuns.
I had 3 hot dogs and 3 Ultras for 9 bucks. How can you beat that?! And the team looked much improved from years past. I know it was against Southern, but passes were more crisp and accurate and they held possession better than in the past.
I’ll have to bring the kids to check it out.
Man it would be so awesome if this program could take off.
Coming off its second consecutive shutout victory, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's soccer team hits the road when it battles Sam Houston State on Sunday at Pritchett Field.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Live results of the match will be available at CajunStats.com.
Louisiana (2-2-1) earned a 3-0 victory over in-state opponent Southern University on Thursday behind goals from Katherine Whitman, Una Einarsdottir and Sykla Sykes. Mackenzie Lee and Victoria Mendes combined on a shutout for Louisiana with Rachel Sutter, Karleen Bedre, Hailey Daigle and Sykes each credited with assists.
Sam Houston State (1-3) earned its first victory of the season with a 5-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Bearkats struck for three goals in a 30-minute span of the first half with Carlota Suarez-Crespo scoring twice to lead SHSU.
The match against SHSU is the first of three straight against Southland Conference schools for Louisiana and the fourth regular-season match overall. The Ragin' Cajuns will return home to host Nicholls State on Wednesday (Sept. 11) before traveling to face Northwestern State on Sept. 15.
