I would think the front line guys were signed back in November? I would think this period would be late signees for 2020 and early signees 2021 ? Are am I wrong?

We may sign as many as three more JUCO arms. Not all good players sign in November.

I believe the late period is for class of 2019. Early sign in the fall is for class of 2020.

I agree we've missed. Which is why we now have basically a full time recruiter.

The HS catcher we signed is getting a lot of play from scouts. And, the JUCO catcher's numbers are listed at the beginning of the thread.

What I like about the signees is they all come from respected D-1 JUCO programs. Doesn't mean they are "can't miss" guys, but I like the chances of them contributing right away.

Sounds really good. We are due for some breaks. We just are. I feel a lot better about the offense going forward. I would not be surprised if this year mimics 2012, then boom!

Are these players on average the same quality of players we brought in the last four years? Would they perchance be better than what we have recently recruited?

Not sure about the unsigned but the ones In the article are putting up those numbers against tougher competition in better leagues. Not a knock against lsue they are a good program but they don’t play the toughest competition.

I don't know, does the Southland provide competition that has a legit shot at a National Title in baseball?

Better yet, do they have a member with an Omaha ring?

I'm talking about those of you who call a .600 winning percentage bad baseball.

That's what some of you have said about 2017-18. And, that's what the winning percentage was in those two years.

    Regional good? No.

But if you think .600 ball is ____ting the bed and bad baseball, you need to get out more.

We've played some bad baseball this year. But guess what? We've played some bad baseball in the past, too. And,, we've always turned it around.

We will turn this around as well.

But get a hold of yourselves. We havent been ____ting the bed the last three years.
If you think playing .600 baseball at the college level is good then you need to find another job. Sorry to break that news to you. I mean really ? 35-21 is good ? That's a prime example of what I've said many times on this board. Mediocrity is totally cool over here. Very much accepted. And that's exactly why we are where we're at.

I’m not sure about this, but didn’t 35-21-1 put us Not far out of getting in the tournament in 2017?

Aren’t there about 300 D 1 teams and only 64 make it. I’m thinking .600 baseball is not far from the line.
