That’s actually the purpose of coaching. Not making them better human beings.

Compare the players that have transferred out over the last 9 years with the ones who have stayed and played.

The ones who have remained under Marlin's tutelage have improved, the ones who left have not. ... For the most part.

If you have to ask, you’re not paying attention.

Well Plaisance improves at UNeaux. I’m gonna say most who left were not progressing under Marlin or he’d fought harder to keep them.

Just saying again that the purpose of coaching is to improve your game, not your character. Can’t recall Bob taking a dud and making him a solid starter, but I’m sure it must have happened.

He averaged 3 points and 2.1 boards a game. I realize that Nevada is very good and very deep, but I think they were expecting a little more from him than he gave them.

In his last 7 games he played a total of 34 minutes (under 5 minutes per game) and scored 6 total points (under 1 point per game) on 2 of 4 shooting. He had 2 double digit games all year, vs Cal Baptist and Little Rock.

I am not sure what type of player he is, but his numbers were very underwelming this year.
Dave, Jordan played on a upperclassman team this year for a program that was in the top 10 much of the season. 12 of their 15 players were either junior or seniors. Their best players were front court guys and the Martin twins were swingmen. Just because he didn't play much this year doesn't mean he doesn't have a mountain of potential. His situation this year just lent him to playing behind a lot of good players who had a ton of experience.

Exactly. Whoever lands him will be very lucky. Wish we could have seen him play with Jakeenan
