I stand by what I said about no change is coming. I do not know at what point that might change. And, what I said is not my opinion, it's the way it is.

I've talked to those that matter. There is no change coming. Now if people want to rip my ___ for that, that's fine.
Well in regards to your last statement, I’m not trying to rip your ——. I’m just asking you to clarify. You replied that there is no change being considered at this time, so end of discussion.

But my post was asking everyone’s opinion of at what point should one be considered, and for what it’s worth, I consider your opinion the same as other faceless posters in this thread. Everyone has a different standard and threshold as a fan. You knowing the landscape of our athletic department and college baseball in general, what is yours?

And look, I’ll do you one more and admit that I was one who, after 2012 where we missed a Regional for the 2nd straight season and got swept by ULM and missed the SBC tournament, asked at that time if it was time to consider a change from Robe.

Boy did I look like a fool the next 4 seasons.

But here we are again. The discussion is worth having amongst fans, and in my opinion, Maggard has to have in his head what situation would trigger such within his walls as well.

ESPECIALLY in light of the investment and pride that’s been put into this program in recent years as trying to position itself as amongst the upper tier in the country.

Multiple consecutive (3 or more) 25 wins or less seasons would be a basis for long term restructuring.

I am sure the coaches and athletic dept get this, but what is troubling to fans is the glimpse of the mountain top in 2013-2016, quickly followed by the long slide down the side of the mountain lasting 3 seasons or more.

    That’s not going to happen.

Go try and tell that to the folks in Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa, Austin, or any other big time athletic program in the country. So while we're "giving it time", we'll continue to be average at best right [and I'm not talking just baseball here] ? Just say it. We're cool with being average. And when the fans finally have had enough, then what ? It's reality and it's near.
I’ll say it. ULL has been and will always be an average as long as LSU is 45 mikes east. Yes UL has had some good teams in each of the big 3 sports but not consistently. Why? Blue chip players want to attend a school which is nationally ranked to compete and showcase their talent, which nobody can blame them. The second tier of players go to better known mid/majors, we get the leftovers.

The stars aligned for Robe and Hud at the same time with football going to a bowl and playing in a super regional.

With the implementation of the corporate money grab, customers (not fans anymore)are getting fed up with mediocre results based on ‘my results of money invested), saying the results are unacceptable, etc. I really get a chuckle out of it.

If you are waiting for a return on your investment with a new conference, national championships,...well good luck with that.

    Now it’s back to reality.

LSU can basically hand pick their players from across the country in baseball, I’m pretty sure out of 330 million people minus their 35 is enough to field a good baseball team
