Proud of the guys. I was phlssed Friday night and I didn’t feel like the team came to the park with the intensity necessary for the magnitude of game they were about to play. Obviously something or someone lit a fire under their arses yesterday. That was a “motivated” bunch.

17 and 17 with 22 games left. At large is very much long shot if not impossible by now. However, if we can go into the tourney with intensity and much improved there is a chance to win it. Coastal not looking like the jaggetnaut they once were .

We pitched and hit two games in a row. The offense has made extreme progress toward power and consistency. So happy for Lochridge!

If pitching can make the same improvement everybody will feel a lot better. It is easier pitching with a big, fat lead.

The loss Friday assured we couldn’t get a 40 win regular season. That effectively killed the final hope for an at large.

Theoretically if we were to win out only to lose in the Conference Championship we would get an at large.

Very true. Which is why finding and setting those starters in regular roles is very important going forward.
