Lol
Two well played games Saturday for sure. Those two, the Friday game against LMU, and last Tuesday's game here against Southeastern were probably the most solid all around games we've played this season. To your point, yes, this team is severely bipolar. Yes, they will win games [two in a row, three, maybe even four]. The question is about consistency. This team still has a very long way to go but hey, we're at .500, having a good start to the second half with 22 regular season games to go. A lot of baseball left. We just need to keep getting better.
Pitching is starting to make sense.
Offense is starting to produce with some consistency.
Let’s see what happens.
Do y’all think Shultz stays put as the Friday night starter or does B.Young or Burke move to that spot?
I’d believe it’s Burke, Young, Perrin and maybe in that order. I really liked Perrin on Saturdays up to this point. Other than one outing he’s been pretty good. Young went 100 pitches so I could see him getting an extra days rest and go on Sunday. And Burke otta be fresh missing the whole weekend. I’d think Savoy goes tomm and Schultz on Wed.
