I wouldn't be shocked if we let a position player throw before this is over. Only pitchers left are our 4 weekend guys, who we won't touch, and our normal midweek starter.

Lockridge has found himself
Lock has poured himself with gas and someone lit the match. Jeez, have a day, guy.
He threw 50 pitches Tuesday and another 30 or so Wednesday. Its questionable. I think a lot of whether he pitches comes down to whether our Sunday starter from last year has recovered enough from his injury to handle 3 or 4 innings in his next schedule "Rehab" start Tuesday against UCA.
And here comes Patterson, so I guess that answers that.
Few do. A lot of people assume that we're just a good team based on the record, but the reality is we're rail thin. We struggle putting together a full roster for league play right now. We simply don't have the ability to handle doubleheaders, or 2 midweek games in a week. When those situations happen, guys have to often pull double duty, and pitch both halves of a DH, or both midweek games.
I'd put our top 13-14 guys up against anyone in this league, including Coastal. Our next 13-14 guys would struggle to be competitive in the Southland.
And here we go....
Cooke comes in gives up grand slam without recording an out. Perrin could’ve just thrown 125 please
Liking the way we didnt cave
One day...our 3rd string first basemen is going to tell the story of getting thrown on a conference roster during a planned redshirt year thanks to a freak injury, and getting put on the mound to pitch with what I am sure are 3K Cajun fans yelling all sorts of colorful things at him.
