Multiple consecutive years of suck would be needed to make a change. One could say the trend is down for years, but without losing records. That could change this year.

To sweep the DH today, we would have to win a game that would put us at .500. We are 0-5 in that department. I hope it happens, but I’m not holding my breath.

They will be back. I've accepted the fact that Maggard won't do anything. And we all know that Robe won't fire an assistant.

There is no doubt that this staff will be back but I hope for Freeman’s sake he finds a good paying gig as a pitching coach somewhere else. God forbid a sixth year with this circus as a volunteer assistant. That in itself is sad. Basically the fans will be the ones to speak in terms of money and the amount of time that they want to waste on their weekends watching a sub par program. You don’t have to be a genius to figure out that next season will be as bad or worse.

As stated many times before, if he was in shape to be his normal self, he'd be in triple A right now.

Exactly.... Gunner should have been gone by now and his recent setback shouldn't be used as an excuse.

He is the only player on this team interesting enough to follow after he leaves. I see no other potential MLB players out there.

I don’t know why everyone is dispelling Gunners injury in that he shouldn’t be here in first place, which is true...but the facts are that he IS here, was counted on the roster preseason and is still here...his injury battle is 100% effecting this years team, regardless if he was good enough to leave 2 years ago

Agreed for the most part. Still he’s got more problems than Gunner being unavailable. Wish he’d fix those instead of lamenting Gunner injuries that he cannot fix.
