Nothing at all. I think his best chance at the job is through a position as an assistant. I don't see an AD like Maggard hiring him out of high school.

It wasn't just the fans. Boyd himself has said some negative things, as have members of his extended family.

I'm sure coach Marlin has the replacement already in mind. And, since everyone is at the Final Four, there's a good chance conversations have been held.

Kevin Johnson was one of the original Marlin hires. He's been there the whole time. He has tried to get a couple of head coaching jobs and just fell short. Anyone would leave for a head coaching job.

In this case, he's getting a huge raise. Man is taking care of his family.

Call it whatever you want. KJ loves Coach Marlin. He was made a great offer and took it.
