Any news on the recruiting front? Anybody know of any visitors this weekend? Also anybody know what key positions Bustle and Co will be looking at recruiting heavily this year?

JUCO signees this year will probably be O-Line, WR, RB
and LB. Look for another huge class(30 or so) with
about the same proportion of JUCO/Freshman as this
year. Should be many prospects at game, and they will
    leave VERY impressed.

With so many cajuns recruits making it grade wise, I don't think we will be able to sign more then the 25 that is allowed each season. The reason we had so many open this past class was that we had scholarships left over from the spring class of 2001 we could sign players to those scholarships if they enrolled in the 2002 spring semester.

There are many reasons why the Tech game is important.
The first Home game of 03, a conference Game, an in-state rivalry as well as the fact that they have run up the score on us recently are justification for calling this game important. In the long term it is recruiting that will be impacted most by how this game turns out. We are recruiting the same ares E Texas as well as La. Rickey has done a great job of recruiting even though we have not had a winning record in 7 years. A win Saturday night will turn
    that around immediately

Ditto! It's important but we will win. Rickey knows the game inside an out.
