Sweet. I'm enjoying Colton Frank and his freshman buddy's do their thing. My seats are right next to the on deck circle. Nathan Camp still looks 15, but he is playing way up.

When are any of the injured Cajuns due back? Is Leger going to stay in the pen or is this just a recovery/stay sharp type of useful slot for him?

Here is a summary Jay posted recently about our injuries. Eye opening:

"Projected closer Austin Bradford will have Tommy John surgery.

LF Gavin Bourgeois, who hit over .300 last year, has labrum surgery on his shoulder today. Out for the year.

3B Jonathan Windham, perhaps the league's best defensive third baseman, broke his foot. Out for the year.

1B Daniel Lahare has a bad ankle. Tried to go on Saturday and was pulled after 1 AB. I'm guessing a couple of weeks.

With Lahare out, Handsome Monica is playing first base. Backup catcher Sebastian Toro, who was hitting over .300 has been out for three weeks with an elbow injury, which means the Cajuns are on their third string C. Toro could be available for pinch hitting duties this weekend, but he's at least a week away from being able to catch.

2B Hunter Kasuls had to leave Saturday's game with a shoulder injury after a HBP. He didn't play Sunday or last night and is day to day.

And, Gunner Leger has missed two weekend starts. If and when he returns, it'll be out of the bullpen."

If we have all of these injuries, what are our strength and conditioning coaches doing to prevent injuries?

Not being confrontational...which of those injuries do you think are preventable with better strength and conditioning?

That’s a pretty long list. But let’s not ignore the fact that, outside of Bradford, this team was 6-9 with all of these guys available.

    That's a Turbine question.
