Have you watched this team attempt to execute the bunt this season?

    What we say?
As bad as Viellon has been, he can still run into one every now and then. As an STM fan, do you know if Hannie can play first base?

Have been watching Hannie since he was 8 and all I have seen him play is OF and Pitcher. On another note, I bet Monica has probably not had much time in his career before this year at FB 🤔

No way Robe benches Handsome... even though he is getting close to .200

You right. Why would any coach think about benching a player who is subpar playing out of position, having trouble at the plate especially with RISP and is slow as molasses when he does get on base. He needs to be an every day player.

PS: I would not be surprised to see him at 3B before we see him on the bench.

His one and only hit last night will keep him on the field for the rest of the year!

Hannie has never ever played first base. He was brought in originally as a hitter. Coaches then realized he was a very good pitcher. He pitched during fall ball his freshman year then got hurt and redshirted. On his exit interview he was told to focus on hitting. The have not worked him in as a pitcher at all this year. He wishes to go back to pitching but that’s not up to him.

I have to believe given our pitching situation and Hannie’s lack of everyday playing that if they thought he could help they would have ran him out there. They let Veillon pitch already.

And maybe, just maybe the evaluation of Hannie was as good as the evaluation of Riser and Elkins.

They are desperate right now, anyone they thought could eat up an inning they would throw.
