Good hire for Troy. Bad for Bigfish.
Cross will have Troy competing for championships very soon.

Devils advocate, he didn't compete for the championship every year he was at UTA.

Bobby Lutz a finalist at App. In 11 years at UNCC he had 5 NCAA and 2 NIT bids.

His average finish was higher than Bigfish's.

If lutz is hired at app it will be a great move. Bobby got a raw deal at Charlotte. By the way they go by university of Charlotte now not uncc.

In the five years that Cross was in the league, the Cajuns finished higher than UTA in three of the five years.

In only one of those years was UTA more than one game better than the Cajuns in conference record and that was the year UTA won the regular season title.

During that time, the Cajuns were six games better than UTA in conference record. (Cajuns 62-32, UTA 56-38)

    Marlin was 8-4 against Cross.

I realize none of this changes anyone's mind, but I thought you'd like to have the data.

    I stand corrected.

I think we will agree that Troy's hiring of Cross just made the league better.

Well not exactly, we’re still waiting on GaSt hire so maybe a plus one and a minus one equals nada.
