Yes, but 3 of the home runs and roughly 8 or 9 or the RBIs came in 2 games (Sam Houston and McNeese) for Monica. Outside of that every 12 year old “daddy ball” pitcher in Acadiana could strike him out. .165 or so with RISP is the main driver of my frustration with him. Anytime we have runners on second and or third you can bank on him getting fanned.
That I 100% agree with. I would rather us play some young guys at this point, at least that starts building for next year.
I guess my original comment was to say Veillon is the lesser of 2 huge liabilities in our lineup. That’s probably very debatable, but just kind of how I see it at this point.
