Says something when our down years are right around .500 or even above .500 teams.

Win tomorrow and we are 4-2 after the first couple weekends of conference play. That’s something to build on.

The turn takes too long and neither Cantrelle nor Kasuls has a rocket arm.
I’m pretty sure I witnessed a 5-4-3 double play today and just missed out on another in the ninth. Guess you had to actually be AT the game. Smoke?????

That is very true. When .500 absolutely turns your stomach, a lot has gone well.

Imagine if Gunner got here a year earlier in 2014. That would have been a stroke of luck.

I could be wrong but only one Robe coached team has finished under .500 in this millenium. 2003 team won something like 19 out of 21 to finish the year at 30-30 after a rough start and had a chance to win the conference on the last weekend. I’ll be more concerned if the team does not continue progressing. This is a better team right now than it was a month ago.

Just trying to look at some positives. We have alot of guys hitting at or near .300 now. Things can change quick in small sample sizes of baseball. I do agree we need to show consistency.

Lets do this. This team has been close to turning the corner. Lose tomorrow and we took 3 steps back. Big game! Geaux Cajuns!

Thanks for correcting my memory and looking it up. The 23-30 team was 2012 though. I’ll take another one of those seasons if it precedes what came after.

I love this program and I’m certainly all for the positive vibes...

But I don’t know where you guys are thinking we are “just about to turn the corner”... At this point, a well played, complete game isnthe anomaly.
