We have been handed wins gift wrapped several times so far. McNeese, Loyola Marymount, today, Maryland come to mind.

Mimosas and Bloody Mary's tomorrow. We would be going for the sweep tomorrow if we were no so much into gifting.
If we had any balls we would bury someone and be going for the sweep. But we not capable of that.
We have seen six, or seven regional teams, two super regional teams since 2005. We know what those teams looked like. I've not heard anyone who thought this year was like those.
You know I get tired of every time we have a sub par year it’s about no guts or no balls somehow implying the players are soft. I don’t know any of them personally but is it just possible that they are giving it every thing they have and are just not as talented as the other team. That of course raises a whole different discussion but I question those who don’t know any more than me automatically calling the kids soft
Honestly for this team to reach a regional EVERYTHING would of had to have gone perfect. No injuries, no slow start offensively, and a little luck on our side. However that is not what is happening. We lacking talent on both sides of the diamond. We don’t have the freshman power arms that have the potential to be dominate down the road. We don’t have the freshman bats that are coming around at midseason. In years past we have had those two things. We stop in search mode
I think the kids and coaches are performing up to potential. College athletics are cyclical. Up years and down years. We at the bottom, I hope.
