Nobody is begrudgingly his move, just don’t think it’s going to pay off long term. But he’s looking to cash in.

Agree. To get some perspective of the kind of project he's taking on, looked up Tulane hasn't made NCAA tourney since 1995. Dreadful program.
Although, I'm more concerned our Cajuns haven't punched their ticket lately and wondering how much longer we have to wait.
9 years, 8 tournament wins. Not many of the loses in the tournament were against Hunter. So our future isn’t brighter by much.
Now that Marlin’s best Frenemy is there hopefully this means we can start playing some home and homes with Tulane.
GAST was over a barrel. Hunter was mad in October he wasn't offered an extension. Think the first glance he got from another program, he was gone. It just happened to be Tulane. Private university with deep pockets. Tulane could be the next Liberty, Wofford, Gonzaga, Butler, etc. Odds are, they won’t.
Lots has been said about Marlin and Broadhead getting raises/extensions. Hunter had already gotten one, was expecting a second. It's a tricky business, beyond my pay grade.
