R. Hunter made the same move most SBC MBB coaches would do if given the opportunity. Go to a 4 bid conference instead of remaining in what is now a one bid conference. Remains to be seen if his teams will attain an NCAA bid in AAC.
Nobody is begrudgingly his move, just don’t think it’s going to pay off long term. But he’s looking to cash in.
Agree. To get some perspective of the kind of project he's taking on, looked up Tulane hasn't made NCAA tourney since 1995. Dreadful program.
Although, I'm more concerned our Cajuns haven't punched their ticket lately and wondering how much longer we have to wait.
9 years, 8 tournament wins. Not many of the loses in the tournament were against Hunter. So our future isn’t brighter by much.
Now that Marlin’s best Frenemy is there hopefully this means we can start playing some home and homes with Tulane.
