Think the biggest nugget of info is that Tulane may start paying their men’s basketball coach more than UL pays their football coach.

And when they don't perform to those expectations you get when you pay your coach that type of money, they fire them and go out and get another one.

R. Hunter made the same move most SBC MBB coaches would do if given the opportunity. Go to a 4 bid conference instead of remaining in what is now a one bid conference. Remains to be seen if his teams will attain an NCAA bid in AAC.

Agree. To get some perspective of the kind of project he's taking on, looked up Tulane hasn't made NCAA tourney since 1995. Dreadful program.

Although, I'm more concerned our Cajuns haven't punched their ticket lately and wondering how much longer we have to wait.

9 years, 8 tournament wins. Not many of the loses in the tournament were against Hunter. So our future isn’t brighter by much.
