30k to lose to a SWAC team at home. That builds a fan base. A live DJ and the bulk of the free student tickets were purchased by the coaching staff. And they still could not get over the hump with a home game (Kent State), a bye and then Texas Southern. Geesh.

After our ladies' program won the WBI or whatever, TWICE, man that program took off like a juggernaut. ROI, zero, financially and talent wise. The "mid majors" are figuring it out and more are just declining each year.

I often hear talktomewillis commenting about it not mattering if we bring good or awful competition. The crowds will be about the same so why spend the money? I’m not worried about profit and loss within reason. I’m far more geared towards building the brand, a once outstanding brand, into prominence.

Every program should be worried about building the brand, not some coaches exit resumé.

Did the Fans show up? did they have a good and entertaining experience? both are rhetorical questions by the way. you cant build any fan base if they dont show up first, and enjoy the time they spent second. sorry if we have different idea at how to build a fan base for a school that needs something to get excited about.

do you have a idea of how much they made back from the 6k tickets purchased? either by coaches or by fans who also paid for their own ticket plus a student to get a free ticket, they were all purchased. you have no clue how to effectively evaluate ulm's ROI for that game. and for you to compare womens basketball to mens is more proof of that very thing.

How’s it going Stooldog? Man,you’re not a financial wizard. My brokers will tell you with any investment you should expect a return UNLESS you need to lose money. I can’t think of one university athletic program that wants to lose money.

A very good day, Sparty skulldrug the Refineryville Five by 17.

And for good measure Auburn does the exact same to UNC.

In a season that will be overshadowed by scandal. Even buying players couldn’t help them in the end.

Very poor attempt to move the target away from if the game turned out good for ulm and the potential added ROI, for them. i will accept your change in topics as you realizing you were wrong in earlier post.

by the way your broker is looking at money gains/loss as the only factor if a investment is successful. an athletic program has many more factors to determine if an investment is successful. it doesnt take a financial wizard, which im not, to figure that part out.

agreed, i was glad to see lsu lose by 17.

Don't have time for a rebranded troll that probably Turbine put on notice.

Naw, root for two two teams, the Cajuns and whoever plays the refinerers. If the broke backs or mutts play the Refineryville bunch, can only hope for a bench clearing brawl for a double forfeit or a natural disaster.

This point, I enjoy great players. Zion would be a beast for any program. Some talking head said "the book was out on how to stop Duke" after UCF. Duke is beatable, let Zion go off, shut the other four positions down.

Just run zone at them and make them shoot the 3.
